What is the process?
We begin with an Introductory Chat. We will arrange a time to get acquainted and discuss the student’s specific goals. If our services are compatible with your objectives, we will schedule our first session, risk-free!
How can I book a session right now?
Click the "Book Now" link on the Contact page. Select a date and time, and you will instantly receive a confirmation email.
Where does tutoring take place?
We come to you. Most sessions take place in the student’s home, although some students prefer to meet at a local coffee shop or library.
How is NYC Math Tutoring and Test Prep different from other tutoring companies?

Can I speak to your references?
Absolutely. We would be happy to connect you with our former students or their parents upon request.
How long are tutoring sessions?
Tutoring sessions are typically 90 minutes, but can be longer upon request.
What time slots are available?
We do our best to provide flexible scheduling for my students, M-F after 6:00pm, & Sun starting at 12:00pm. Click "Book Now" anywhere on the site to see the available time slots in the next several weeks.
How will we communicate once tutoring begins?
We will send Progress Updates via email to students and parents, summarizing progress and sticking points throughout the tutoring process. We offer specific observations and suggestions based on the student’s performance and habits. We typically respond to email within 48 hours.
What is the cost?
Rates vary based on needs, subject matter, and travel requirements. Discounts are available for bundled packages and group sessions. Please call for pricing.
Are there any policies I should be aware of?
We ask that students kindly provide 24 hours notice in the event of a cancellation.
For in home tutoring, a responsible adult older than 21 must be present for students under 18.
How can I refer you?
If you read "Our Students", you should have a good idea who my Ideal Customer is. If you think someone you know would benefit from working with us, please share my website with them and encourage them to contact us by phone or email. A referral is the highest compliment we can receive. We will send you a $50 Amazon gift card when someone you refer books their first session!
